This package consists of three main components:

  1. The first component is Driver’s Education and begins with a 6-hour class. During this 6-hour class the students learn the important provisions of Title 28 laws, defensive driving attitudes, basic car control and the National Safety council certified Alive at 25 curriculum.  At the end of the class an MVD approved written practice test is given in preparation for the test at MVD for permit.

  2. The second component is the Behind the Wheel program.  This is 6 hours of In-Car training, broken down into (2) 3-hour driving lessons.  Covering parking, basic car control thru more complex traffic, one way streets to freeway driving. These lessons are given in our vehicles and are one-on-one with an MVD certified instructor.

  3. The final component includes transportation to the MVD and a provided vehicle to take the driving test in.  One of our MVD certified instructors will pick you up and take you to the MVD for your Arizona License test.

As of October 22, 2012 the MVD has stopped accepting certificate of completions issued by all driving schools to waive the driving and permit MVD tests. This means you will need to take these tests at the MVD. This is why we have added the 3rd component to this Drivers’s Ed Package.
